We’ve all experienced the sting of rejection at one time or another. Whether it’s as a kid not getting picked at recess, as an adult not getting a job promotion, or simply longing for someone to love us the way we love them. No matter what the cause, rejection can leave us feeling like we are not enough and negatively affect how we see ourselves. In this episode, Summer talks with Kristi Fleming, author of the new book, Rescued, Redeemed, and Restored. Kristi shares her own experience, as well as from stories of the Bible, to help others navigate and heal from painful seasons of rejection, and start believing that they are enough. She also shares practical steps to help stay rooted in your identity in Christ, as well as insight into how family and friends can walk alongside a loved one who is hurting.
Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. Music by Nathaniel Rodrigues

More about the Rescued, Redeemed, and Restored:
Will the pain of rejection ever go away? Have you ever been rejected or told you were not enough? The pain can thrust you into brokenness that some people never come out of. Rescued, Redeemed, and Restored is about how God can heal even the most hopeless situations. Through my personal testimony and paralleling Biblical stories, you will see how God can redeem even the worst of our pain and give us purpose through it. Born out of a season of rejection Rescued, Redeemed, and Restored will take you through:
There is purpose in your pain and God is not finished with you yet!
